Vestibular physiotherapy is rehabilitation for the balance system of the inner ear and brain. People look for it when they have dizziness, vertigo or unsteadiness. A new or sudden dizzy spell should be seen by a doctor first.

In most provinces you can book physiotherapy without a referral. Some programs may need one, for example a hospital or publicly funded program, or when an insurer or workers’ compensation board asks for one. Ask when you book.

Clinics set their own fees and we do not have prices for these offices, so ask when you book. Provincial health plans pay for physiotherapy only in some cases, and many extended health plans cover part of it.
