About ClinicFinder.ca
ClinicFinder.ca is a directory of clinics, pharmacies, dentists and other healthcare providers across Canada. Listings are compiled from public sources, including Statistics Canada, provincial health registries, OpenStreetMap and Google, and from information clinics send us.
Using the Website
You may use the Website for personal, non-commercial purposes to find healthcare information. You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl or systematically download content from the Website
- Copy or republish substantial parts of the Website's content
- Use the Website for any unlawful purpose
- Interfere with how the Website works
- Submit false or misleading information through our forms
- Use automated tools beyond what our robots.txt file permits
Accuracy of information
We work to keep listings accurate, but we cannot guarantee that any listing is complete or current. Hours, phone numbers, services and ratings can change without notice. Please contact the clinic to confirm details before you visit.
Ratings and review counts come from third-party platforms and may not reflect the latest figures.
Not medical advice
Information on the Website is for general information only and is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Ask a qualified healthcare provider about any medical condition. In an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
Clinic listings
Clinic owners and managers can correct or claim their listing through our Request an edit page. Changes are reviewed before they go live. We may edit, recategorize or remove any listing at our discretion, including to keep listings accurate.
Featured listings
Clinics can pay for a Featured listing. Featured listings are labelled "Featured" wherever they appear. Paying for Featured does not change a clinic's ratings or reviews.
- Billing: Featured is billed yearly in Canadian dollars through Stripe, at the price shown when you sign up. The subscription renews each year until you cancel.
- Early rates: clinics that sign up at an early clinic rate keep that rate for as long as the subscription stays active. If it is cancelled, a new subscription is charged at the price in effect at that time.
- Cancelling: you can cancel at any time by emailing info@clinicfinder.ca. Your Featured benefits continue until the end of the year you have paid for, and the subscription will not renew.
- Grace period: if a subscription ends without renewing, your Featured benefits stay on for 30 days after the end date, so you have time to renew without losing your placement.
- Refunds: you can ask for a full refund within 30 days of any charge, including a renewal, by emailing info@clinicfinder.ca. Your Featured benefits end when the refund is issued.
- Placement: Featured listings are shown above the standard ranking on the pages where they appear. We do not guarantee a particular position.
Patient reviews
Visitors can write reviews of clinics. By submitting a review you confirm that you were a patient of the clinic, that you have no connection to it or its competitors, that you were not paid or rewarded for the review, and that it describes your own experience honestly. You keep ownership of what you write and give us permission to publish it on ClinicFinder.ca. We check every review before it appears and may decline, edit (to remove personal details) or remove any review under our review policy. Reviews are the opinions of their authors, not of ClinicFinder.ca, and are not medical advice.
Intellectual property
The Website's design, code and original content belong to ClinicFinder.ca. Clinic information, photos and ratings from third parties remain the property of their owners.
Third-party links
The Website links to other sites, including clinic websites and map services. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices.
Limitation of liability
The Website is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Website, including:
- Reliance on information on the Website
- Errors or omissions in listings
- Your dealings with any healthcare provider listed on the Website
- Interruptions or errors in the Website's availability
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms at any time. Using the Website after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
