About Spectrum by Equalis Health
Spectrum by Equalis Health is a virtual, clinician-led PrEP care service focused on privacy, access and ongoing sexual health support for the LGBTQ community across Alberta. Its mission is to make PrEP care accessible, respectful and easy to navigate, delivered entirely through secure virtual care.
Nurse practitioners handle PrEP consultations, renewals and monitoring, DoxyPEP and STI guidance, with prescriptions sent to any Alberta pharmacy. Most patients pay nothing: generic PrEP is covered by the Alberta PrEP Program and the consultation is covered by Alberta Health with a valid health card.
