About FasTreat
FasTreat is an online ADHD assessment and treatment service for adults and for children and teens aged 6 and up. It aims to make mental health care fast, affordable and accessible without long wait times, with evaluation, diagnosis, prescribing and follow-up all handled online.
Patients start with an online questionnaire, then a video consultation with a clinician licensed to practise and prescribe in their province or territory. The team includes a psychiatrist, a general practitioner and nurse practitioners, and ongoing care includes messaging with your provider and prescription management. FasTreat also treats anxiety, depression and insomnia.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is FasTreat covered by my provincial health plan?
No. FasTreat is private pay and is not covered by OHIP, MSP, RAMQ or any other public health plan. It provides receipts you can submit to private insurance.
Do I need to visit an office?
No. Assessment, diagnosis, prescribing and follow-up all happen online, by video and messaging.
Who will I see?
You are matched with a clinician licensed to practise and prescribe in your province or territory. If availability is limited in your area, you may be placed on a waitlist.
Does FasTreat see children?
Yes. Child and teen ADHD assessments are available for ages 6 to 17.
Virtual providers can only treat patients in provinces where their clinicians are licensed. Check that a provider serves your province before booking. For a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
