Common questions
Is the free listing really free?
Yes. Adding your clinic, claiming an existing listing, showing your website link, and asking for corrections all cost nothing, with no subscription and nothing to cancel. Featured is the only paid option, and it is optional.
How does the Verified badge work?
Claim your listing through the edit form and tell us your role at the clinic. We check that you actually run the practice, usually by matching your email to the clinic's own domain or by confirming the details against your website. Once that checks out, your listing shows a Verified badge. Submitting a form or choosing a plan is not enough on its own.
Can I show a ClinicFinder badge on my website?
Yes, if you would like to. Every listing has a "Find us on ClinicFinder" badge with a copy and paste snippet, and clinics in the top ten for their city and category get a badge that says so. It sends your visitors straight to your listing. It is entirely optional.
What does priority placement actually mean?
City, service and province pages normally rank clinics by their Google rating weighted by how many reviews they have. Featured clinics are placed above that ranking on the pages where they appear, and they can appear in the grid of clinics on the homepage. That matters most where a page is crowded: family medicine in Montréal lists 329 clinics, walk-in clinics in Calgary 142, dentists in Winnipeg 122. Those grids hold a set number of clinics, so placement is a better position rather than a guaranteed spot, and no more than two locations from the same clinic group are promoted on any single page.
Do you offer a discount for multiple locations?
Yes. Featured is $30 a year for one location, $75 a year for two to six locations, and a flat $150 a year for seven or more, however many you have. All prices are in Canadian dollars. Pick your group above, send us the form, and we will set up one subscription that covers all of them.
I already pay for a listing. Does anything change?
No. Existing subscriptions, prices and benefits stay exactly as they are, including any rate locked in when you signed up, and anything already added to your listing stays on it.
How do I update my listing?
Use the Request an Edit form on any listing. Changes are checked before they go live, usually within one business day.
My clinic is already listed. How did you get my information?
We compile publicly available data from government health registries, OpenStreetMap and Google. Your listing is free, and you can request edits or contact us to update or remove it at any time.
